521 spent the day on the Fort Henry Trail at Land Between the Lakes.
We were there for a 5-mile hike to satisfy the requirements for 2nd
Class Scout and a 10-mile hike for the Hiking Merit Badge. The
weather was crisp with temperatures just above freezing and clear
skies. We split into two groups and hit the trail.
This is one of our favorite
hills on this trail. It goes on and on and on. In fact,
it is such a feature that it has trail markers at both ends!
After wading across a creek
just short of the Welcome Center, it was time for dry socks.
